Big Horn BBQ
Website, Type Design, and Illustrations
Fueled by Texas-sized hospitality, Big Horn dish out the finest BBQ, deliver grade-A customer service, and keep things clean as a whistle in a friendly, family-style setting for the folks in our communities. Big Horn is not just a restaurant, it’s a tight-knit second home for the staff where excellence and warmth intersect.
When tasked to refresh Big Horn’s website, we identified the need to refresh its brand messaging. Without changing its locally known bullhorn logo, we infused a new ethos to the brand by introducing wit to the website copywriting, rendered in newly custom-designed typeface, BH Classy. We also designed illustrations that compliment the new tone of voice, each time combining 2 objects into a playful new icon that looks great on their own and as a wallpaper.

Boston Lyric Opera’s mission is to inspire, entertain, and connect the community through compelling opera performances, programs, and gatherings.
We were tasked with designing a cohesive visual branding system for the Opera and its 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, along with distinct concept art for each of four opera productions for each season. For the Opera as a whole, our brand refresh included the creation of a new BLO logo and typeface. For each production, we developed a unique typography language and matching color palette, as well as design elements reflecting their distinctive themes and concepts.

For this project, we produced uplifting poster designs around the theme of “New York Strong.” These can now be found throughout New York City on nearly 1,800 digital screens and billboards, thanks to partnerships with LinkNYC, JCDecaux, Silvercast, Pearl Media, and Times Square Arts.

Feed Juice Immersive Space
Feed Juice
FEED offers fresh juice and food made from organic produce that is cultivated using sustainable agricultural methods by farmers in West Java, Indonesia. The company promotes physical and psychological wellbeing through proper body nourishment, following a holistic approach based on simplicity and mindfulness.
We collaborated with HGT Architects to design FEED’s first store in Bandung, Indonesia. We designed the icons, signage, juice packaging, and motion graphics to seamlessly blend with the store’s intimate, minimalist, and modern space, which draws inspiration from contemporary art installations.

Produced in close collaboration with the Center for Active Design, “Assembly: Civic Design Guidelines” is a groundbreaking playbook for creating well-designed and well-maintained public spaces. The guidelines encapsulate four years of research—involving over 200 studies, 50 cities, and dozens of experts—highlighting the role of public spaces as a force for building trust and healing divisions in local communities.
We designed the published guidelines to incorporate vibrant colors and simple hand-drawn illustrations to help explain the significance of these research findings in simple terms, along with practical methods that policymakers can adopt to bring about great public spaces for all.
